Think there are no scholarships for you? Maybe your grades aren’t the best or you don’t think you can qualify for need-based aid.
There’s at least one scholarship, though, that just requires that you don’t want to pay for college! Well, ok, it also requires that you be currently enrolled in college or high school – or that you’ll be enrolled within the next 12 months.
Just fill out a few bits of information so they can find you and send the money if you win, and you’ll be entered for the cash. Currently, applications for the scholarship are accepted until Nov, 30 2009 – so you’ve got some time left before winners are selected.
Now, The scholarship isn’t the only thing Cappex can do to help you get ready for college. They’ve got their own free merit-based scholarship engine (there’s no such thing as using too many free scholarship searches!) and a access to information about schools and opportunities as they become available.
Of course, a chance at a thousand bucks to help pay for college is a pretty good reason to check it out, too!
