em really glad to know that ur organization is supporting students financially and granted scholarships. i want to be a doctor of pharmacy as i am doing pharm-d from university of south asia lhr. My per smester fee is 90,000/- but as am not able they allow me per month 15000/- but our family is not able to afford even 1500/- per month. my mother is doing job in factory and my father left us 15years before. we are 3sisters only. please just help me in my studies expense we are very upset i want to study more…03124001688, 03237242738

Great advice to file as soon as possible after January 1 and start filling out the forms on paper the end of January so you are ready to fill them in online ASAP after the first of the year. The early bird definitely gets the financial aid worm. I would also add this bit of advice: save your last couple pay check stubs, since most likely you will not have your w-2′s when you file on an estimated basis. My view on financial aid is that the government does not realize how much a family can really afford to pay for college. Even though the government is all for everyone getting an education because we are the future, yet they do not supply enough money for students to do so.

It’s unfair to people who really need it. My mom can’t afford to send my two sisters and I to college so we depend on financial aid. But because so many people take advantage of it, it’s harder for people that really need it, like my family, to get approved for it.

I always did not understand the need of financial aid,but after reading the blog i came to know that It’s virtually impossible for ones family to learn all the rules and regulations you need to know about when applying for college financial aid. Even if you had the desire to learn the process it takes years to become an expert.Congrats for ur organization for coming forward and like to see more from others as well taking a leaf from you.
